Week 23 Update Saturday, June 07, 2008
People are FINALLY, and I do mean finally realizing that no, I am not gaining weight because I can't stop eating, but rather because I am pregnant. It also helps that I have started wearing maternity shirts. Regular shirts just make me look whale-ish. Maternity shirts make me look pregnant. Yeah! More and more people are having their eyes pop out and sheepishly ask, "Are you...?" And I smile and say yes. Being that I work in an office that collects rent from 456 units a month, I see a lot of people regularly. Some people I told right out, but most I haven't told. Being that I am not married I get a lot of "looks." I try to just avoid it sometimes.
I am feeling her a lot more. However, I still feel she isn't moving as much as she should be at this time. I hope nothing is wrong. She moves daily. However, it's not a strong feeling.
I am still waiting (from Wednesday) for them to fax the counter offer. Ugggh. My realitor called me today (Saturday) and said he still hasn't got it yet, even though they say that they faxed it yesterday. Perhaps the fax just didn't go through. Now I know why they say you must be patient when buying a house. At this rate I will be 7 months pregnant when moving. Thank God my family has volunteered to help. There will be no way that I am going to be able to do it on my own.
My pregnancy is going well. I can't complain too much. I had my first swelling of hands and feet last week while shopping with my mom. I was on my feet for about 2 hours. Also, I was very dehydrated. I drank and drank water for days, and I haven't had a problem since. My feet still hurt when I walk too long on them. Other than that, I can't complain. I am very impatient though. I really wish I was in my "30 weeks". I still feel like I have such a long time to go!

As long as you're feeling her on a consistent basis, no worries. When you're 7-8 months, you'll be feeling her ALL the time! :) [Mommy2Katie] 6/7/2008 11:29:39 PM
a house, yay. [dontyouforgetaboutme] [p] 6/8/2008 12:45:05 PM
I'm glad you know what to do about the swelling. Eating protein also helps. As for not being married, well it's not like you're a teenager. You can support your baby and give her a good life. [angelhair] 6/8/2008 10:03:24 PM
RYN: Wow your right! I am 35 and a half weeks. She really doesnt care about my feelings and now that I think about it why should i care about hers? I am just scared about RJs. [NoMoReTeArS] 6/12/2008 6:55:16 PM
