Gym session today and looking forward in Fitness

Currently I have a belly, which I acquired a few years back now and have never gotten rid of. My mission is to get rid of it and become fitter, stronger and tone my body. I ran a half marathon a couple of years ago. I would really life to run a full marathon and do a tough mudder. Those are a couple of goals I’d life to achieve within the next 18 months.

I went to the gym today for about an hour. I did a couple of miles on the treadmill, worked round a few of the weighs machines and went for a quick swim. Ideally I need to find a new gym closer to where I’m now living. I’m a member of a chain gym and it was a 5 minute walk from where I was living. Now I have to drive 8 miles through a ridiculous amount of traffic lights to get there.

I plan to start going to the gym three times a week. I also want to get back in to a routine of running and cycling, as well as taking up bouldering. I tried bouldering out a couple of month ago and enjoyed it. There are a couple of locations I can go to do in in that are not to far away, closer than my current gym in fact.
