Week 13 Update Sunday, March 30, 2008
My last doctor appointment moved my due date up to October 4th. This makes me 13 weeks. I am still sick. As a matter of fact I almost threw up 3 times today. Uuugh. Will this part ever end?
I did something that I felt I had to do. I could no longer keep up with school since I am so sick all the time. I wasn't learner anything and began to fail all my tests. I dropped all my classes. As I walked out of school I cried. I miss school so much, but at the same time, I was miserable. Everytime I tried to get up and study I felt nausous. However, before I left that school I made a pledge to be back. I will be back to school. I will finish. I have to. I still want to be there.
Everything else is going well. My mom is getting very excited. She wasn't very happy about school, but she understood. She was sick the whole 9 months for her kids. I've had a crib and changing table donated to me. The cats (Sophie and Felix) are very interested in them. They keep sniffing them. The crib is not set up for all those superstitious people out there. Because I was planning on purchasing the crib and changing table I had saved some money. I decided to take that money and buy a video camera! It feels wasteful now, but I know I will use it all the time once the baby comes.
Ok, I am feeling yucky again. I will try to keep updating. I want to remember everything. I need to write more often! I just can't stop being sick!

Caught you on the front page. I read your goals and laughed because I share a lot of them. I'll be back.:) [angelhair] 3/30/2008 9:43:09 PM

Hi found you on the front page; I too will be back. Congrats on the little one. [mumof2lilboys] 3/30/2008 10:00:01 PM
Random: Congrats. Hopefully you won't be sick for the full nine months, and I'm sure you will eventually get back to school. No harm in taking a few months/years off. Motherhood is a wonderful experience. [Konflickted] 3/30/2008 10:19:39 PM
The video camera will come in quite handy, believe me!
I didn't know about a superstition about setting up the crib...I'll have to google that. Katie's was set up when I was about 5 1/2-6 months along. hmm.... [Mommy2Katie]

I am so thankful now that I have my OD entries from when I was pregnant. They are such good memories. I was nauseous for 8 1/2 months, but felt better the last couple of weeks. It is miserable, but it ends one way or another and it is worth it. Just hang in there, one more day down is another day closer to meeting the little one. SO happy for you! Don't worry about school - it'll be there when you're ready to go back and finish it.

Ryn: I was induced with my second son. [mumof2lilboys] 3/31/2008 2:18:50 PM
RYN: He left an entry saying that he "made a decision" and was going to leave his diary to his sister, so that she can give it to anyone of us who wanted it. Then in the last two entries her sister was writing him about how bad she felt about what he did, and how sorry she was. In the final entry it's his ex-girfriend writing, saying that he "Passed away on the 27th of March. [Pickled Duck Lips] [p] 4/2/2008 8:04:46 PM
Thanks for the note! My personal least favorite noters are the 30-ish crowd on IVF treatments who have nothing better to do than beat up on me, a 20 year old on the 3rd cycle of trying after an unplanned pregnancy that ended in miscarriage...cause you know, how dare I enjoy ttc when they so clearly don't =P

Maybe you could start a video diary while you're pregnant? I'm sure your child would get a kick out of it when they're old enough.
I wish you a hassle-free and very comfortable next-27-weeks =D [Second Impression]

My doctors always said, the sicker the better for the baby, it means they have raging hormones and that means great life. He said the sicker you are the less liklier you are to have a miscarriage. I told them I thought I was going to throw my kids up I was so sick. In the end my children are all healthy and doing great. [My Dream] [p]
