Fuck you people, I think he’s a talented director and writer, and I think the guy’s fucking insanely intelligent. I’m one of his biggest fans, and it’s largely due to Mallrats, the Clerks series, and Hollywood Babble On, but not only that? He’s also a really good comic writer. His Green Arrow run was seminal, as was his run on Daredevil, but for me, even though a lot of people had issues with it, his Batman story, The Widening Gyre, was fucking awesome.
But this isn’t the reason I’m writing this entry.
A lot of people have made fun of him over the years for his weight. You seen this motherfucker lately? He’s lost a lot of weight! Here’s a picture of him from 2009:

Double feature: That’s him without the beard. Now, I’ve been a fan of the Askewniverse for a long fucking time, and I’ve never seen him without the beard. Dude! He looks fucking awesome! He looks great without the beard, and he lost all that weight simply by cutting sugar out of his diet, and I think it damn well suits him.
