I’m down three pounds since the beginning of January, despite only having had done a workout twice in the past three-ish weeks and eating Mcdonalds several times. I just haven’t had time. And sometimes my only way to get a meal in is to take the kids for a drive and grab myself something.

I’m closer to 120 now than 130, so I guess that’s fine. I’ve lost a total of 13 pounds since September 2014. Not much, but it’s better than nothin’ for all the work I’ve done. I guess I’ve also lost motivation because I feel like I look okay. I don’t like to sweat, so I’d like to do something more low-key for exercise, like yoga. When I find time.

Lorelei was sick last week, and this week Cannon is sick. Crying fits from both of them have been happening a lot. If I walk away from Lorelei, even if I’m only a few feet away, she loses it. She’s going through a phase.

She’s also been nursing like crazy. She was refusing solids for a few days and only wanting to nurse. My milk supply went WHOA and now if she doesn’t nurse for awhile my boobs feel like they are gonna explode and I leak a lot. Bleh.

I have a seven page paper due on Monday. Jacob will be gone all day on Saturday. I have no idea when I will be able to get it done. My house is an absolute nightmare and I’d love to get it back in order.... but the paper is probably more important right now. I have another 10 page paper due in two weeks as well. Ugh. I’m ready for this to be over. But then it won’t be.. it’ll be worse. I have five classes in the summer. Yes, FIVE. Over the course of eight weeks. Then I’ll have five in the fall. Jacob is going to have to be a stay-at-home dad this summer! And both kids are going to daycare in the fall. I have no idea how we are going to pay for that, but they have to. I wish we lived closer to Jacob’s family. They love the kids, the kids love them, and it wouldn’t be a super high daycare cost. His mom runs a business though, so I dunno.

Anyway.

I went to a really cool place called Kaleidoscope with my friend and her daughter on Monday. It was free, and the kids can make artwork there and take it home. I’m definitely going back with them sometime!

There is an online acquaintance of mine who is in Kansas City until the 23rd, and I wanted to hang out with her and her kids this week too but Cannon has been sick, so we’ll see.

Lorelei is almost able to stand up by herself.
Cannon has been “talking” more but I can’t understand what he says most of the time. He counted to 22 yesterday! I didn’t know he could do that. He does a lot of things that surprise me all the time!
They play together a lot and it’s very darling… even if they wrestle each other and it scares me!

Yay for the weight loss! :)

Weight is just a stupid number. If you feel healthier, then you win.

I love to sweat during workouts- makes me feel like I accomplished something. I like yoga, too and actually did some this morning. It helps my back.

I can't imagine how high daycare is for two kids. I think last time I looked it was around the same as my mortgage. Maybe you can find a less expensive, reliable babysitter? It would save the kids a lot of colds/flus, save you a lot of money, and then you know they are home all day...

The thing is, I don't want them home all day. Cannon absolutely needs social interaction with other kids. It really helps his social development, which he is kinda behind in. I'd hate to take that away from him. :(
