Just got back from some volunteer work at a work place that’s not even my own. I enjoy it there though and was glad to be able to be of some help.
Now to focus my energies elsewhere. I have so much going on at home that I need to take care of. I don’t think a week of Spring Break is enough to finish it all! All this work! When am I gonna find time to rest and recharge? Planning an over night trip to the coast for Thursday, but not sure that’s going to happen if I don’t even have time for this beastly project.
You would think that a bathroom remodel wouldn’t create much of a mess. That’s it’s pretty well contained to that one room. WRONG!! It effects the whole house! Had to move living room furniture and breakable items to another room to make sure they could bring the shower in okay. EVERYTHING in the bathroom had to be moved out so it’s sitting in boxes or taking up space in the bedroom or elsewhere. It’s the master bathroom so it’s fairly big. Now I’ve got the new bathroom furniture in various rooms of the house, waiting to be constructed and installed, which they can’t be until the floor trim boards are put in. Tomorrow. I have a big sheet of left over linoleum sitting in my dining room. and an old toilet and shower stall on the side of the house that still needs to be hauled away… Aye!!! What was suppose to take 2 weeks has turned into 15 weeks. Take a breath.... it will all be done soon.
Breaks over… Come on Slacker! Back to work.
