So. Sir Terry Pratchett has died. This has affected me more than any other death this year. I learned to read through The Colour of Magic back in the 90’s. I’ve read every book he’s written, I’ve read every short story he’s written, I’ve watched every TV adaptation of his work. I’ve seen him speak, I’ve met him a few times, I’m friends with a friend of his family. To say that Terry Pratchett has, in more than one way, changed my life is understating it.
I’m extremely sad about his passing. 66 is no age to go out on. Yesterday was one of the saddest days of my life.
