I am so blessed and I know it. I have a good job (s) and a beautiful place to live in a town that hundreds of people from all over the U.S. come and check out. It makes me proud that I live in such a cool Lil town. We have an art walk twice a month. The first friday and third sat. of every month. We have a farmers market that comes on tues. from 10 - 3 with like 60 vendors from home made killer ass jams and jellies ( they aren’t your normal jams and jellies trust me on that ) to soaps and insensce and organic veggies. Very bohemian, laid back. We are a dog town. Everyone has a dog and if not a dog a cat or both. If you come with nothing you will have something. Trust me. Your allowed chickens and we have a goat that lives on a boat named Gordon. Water bowls are everywhere and all waitresses carry a pocket full of dog treats. Almost all places allow dogs. The post office has treats so does the realitor office and the bars. We walk everywhere. There is a lil store that is ran by greeks that has a lil of everything from wine to laundry soap. Have a few galleries. The houses are crazy here. Metal flowers growing off the sides of houses. Big ol pieces of yard art that you have to just stop and say wow. Barbie dolls in various get ups hanging from a mail box. Right up the street is a big ass flying dragon made of shiny metal lite up in purple and white lights at night. Ultra modern - ultra old. The place I live is built in 1934. Killer ass food here too. We have veg beds in the front yards here too. Then the water. The bay is here. We have a beach tho I don’t use it. I don’t swim in the bay water. Too much run off. I only swim in the gulf. We have a long pier that looks out onto about 35 liveaboards. I love where I live so grateful for that. Nothing worse than hatin where ya live. Music all kinds of music. No one is really in a rush here. Kind of hard with the brick streets that run along the sides of this place. O! The tourists only stay one day then leave. There is not hotel or franchise here other than McD’s. That makes it even nicer. Let the tourists stay on the beach. There as red as the Main lobster when cooked and there cooked. Lol.
