I am a complete zombie writing this. I still have 3 hours until I can check in, and I’m dying here lol.

Luckily my plan worked perfectly last night. I finished my 10-hour shift back in Brisbane, went straight to the airport, changed into a T-shirt, sweated when my carry-on luggage came to 6.6kg (there’s a 7kg limit) so just as well I didn’t bring my laptop or even my tablet it seems! Waited a few hours, plane here, on the train to central (where I also saw the hotel where ilk be staying), scanned card, it let me in (yay), changed into gayer clothes, took the cards I needed and key from my keychain, put my bag in one of the lockers, locked it and walked outside.

I had an idea where to go, since I’ve done it so many times. There were a heal of Asian guys wearing polyester rainbow tights, so I just followed the gay unicorns all the way. They seemed like a lot of fun.

Finally got there AND got let in. My need for concession proof wasn’t even needed, she waved me on through Woohoo!

At the party, I ran into Hayden (who was dresses up in drag as CeCe) and the only way I knew it was him was from his Snapchat he had sent me.
I didn’t often run into people I knew throughout the night, but Aaron and Justin both said hi. I also got a surprise kiss from Nicolas, who is like Brisbane’s biggest scene queen, but usually ignores me and flips me the bird for some weird reason.
I eventually ran into Angelo and Matt. Matt was being too flirty toward me so I didn’t take them up on their offer to crash, since it most probably would have ended up as a threesome. I ended up staying until the music ceased to play. Two years in a row! Now, 3 hours on, I feel like dying. I’m gonna have to see if they can check me in early.

As for the acts, I missed Nick Jonas (DOH!!) but Dannii Minogue, Jake Shears, Courtney Act and Betty Who were all incredible. Well, Courtney and Jake did a rendition of ‘Nutbush City Limits’ for some reason, which was very weird. Dannii did a mix of all her big hits and it sounded amazing!
When I finally walked out after Betty Who, the DJ outside was playing Janet Jackson’s “Together Again” and it just seemed to fit the close of the night perfectly.

Matt and Angelo had caught up with Vish earlier in the day for lunch, and Vish had told Angelo to hook up with me LOL. I didn’t though. They left about 7:15am, I was there til after 8am. For a once a year party, I think it’s worth it. I felt much more comfortable there this year for some reason.
I was a bit disappointed thatvI didn’t get to see Liam or Josh there. I don’t believe Josh was there, but Liam was tagged in my newsfeed as being there, but I couldn’t find him anywhere :(
Oh well!
I was really hoping I’d see Josh there, but nope. He’s usually been there in past years.

But yeah, Matt kept grabbing my arse and cock whenever he was near me, which I brushed off.
I sat down in the bleachers for a while and an Asian fella in front of me randomly told me that I look exactly like a guy who works at The Columbian Hotel (one of many gay venues in Sydney on Oxford Street) then he clarified by saying that guy was good looking and had big muscles. Awwww thanks!
I also got asked if I knew where to buy pills at least three times lol.

Seriously want to write more, but I’m dying here and this is full of typos.

Oh man, carry on is nothing these days. A toothbrush and a magazine, basically. I had a "brainwave" when I came to the US and left my carry on with my mother while I checked my other bags in. The size was right, but I am sure it was too heavy. It just means I am a huge jerk, though, because they have the restrictions for a reason.....

Glad you had a good time - I'm looking forward to reading some more details once you get home and rested.
