Last Xmas I finally got an i-phone 4. I didn't think I'd care or not if I got a smart phone but my contract was up and I got it for 99 cents. I ended up loving the smart phone features.

Yesterday morning I noticed I couldn't get my phone to charge. I looked up on line and found out it was either the battery or the charger. I went to our local Apple Store thinking they'd be able to tell me what was wrong. They told me to buy a new charger without looking at the phone. I asked them to check it out first because if it wasn't the charger, I didn't want to buy a new one. He told me they don't do that but if it was the battery, I'd probably be better off buying a new phone because it would cost about $100. I asked him to please just plug my phone into one of their chargers so I could see if it was the battery or the charger. Again, he said he couldn't do that. I told him I didn't understand why? He told me to just buy a charger, take it home and see if it works then come back. I told him in that case, I'll just go to Best Buy and get a charger. He just shrugged and said it's your time you're wasted. I told him what happened to being polite and customer service. He totally ignored me and walked away. I probably should of talked to a manager but I just left and went to Best Buy and got a charger. Luckily, it was just the charger and it was only $24.00 but if it wasn't the charger and I needed a new phone why should I invest that $24 when I might not replace the phone with an iphone and not need that stupid charger.

It would of taken him one minute to plug my phone in, see it was the charger and sell me a new one. What has happened to Customer Service and being polite? It seems like the majority of the people I deal with just don't want to help you. I don't think I'll be investing in an i-phone when it comes time to replace my phone.
