I just don't get guys sometimes in Adventures in paradise

So that Brock guy I mentioned a few entries back actually ended up messaging me, much to my pleasant surprise.
It was something about me having nice eyes and he asked if they changed colour.
I sent him a reply back saying that they did sometimes, depending on the weather.
I wouldn’t have really noticed it myself if it weren’t for photos really. It’s not like I’ve ever gone and looked in the mirror on a day it’s raining.
I do feel like they do though, as my mother’s do. Whenever it is raining, the colour of my mum’s eyes go from blue to green. It is quite fascinating. I have no idea how it happens or why, but it’s pretty cool. So I like to think maybe I took that on.
Anyway, he said something about picking his sister up from the airport and I replied that was very kind of him.
So now, I log back into Tinder the next day, and our conversation has disappeared.
I may not be a Tinder junkie, but I do get the feeling that means he’s blocked me, right? For whatever reason. Maybe I was too boring for him. That’s gotta be a record - a one sentence reply! He’s the one who started the conversation!
I just don’t get some gay guys sometimes.

My eyes do the same thing, primarily blue, but change to green. I always thought it was reflected light or something that did it. I think it's kinda cool, though.
I would think the disappearing conversation would mean blocked, too, BUT I will note that when my crazy step mother was blocking me on FB, our old conversation was still available for viewing in the inbox, it just said, "You are unable to respond to this conversation". So, I dunno.
