Why did I want to be a teacher. I feel like I have to jump through so many hoops, pay for a bunch of tests and transcripts, and survive this stressful
application process as well as a full year of student teaching and a summer internship.
I have a million things to do this week on top of kids’ appointments and my appointments, on top of tests and papers and class time for school.
I have to find time to keep up with housework and be an attentive mom.
Being a mom and student is ultra mega hard. I mean, it always was, but it’s even moreso with two children.
I kinda wish I could stay home with them forever but that doesn’t pay the bills and it also does not suit me. I think I will like having a career, getting there is the hard part.
