Piano Lessons Thursday, October 12, 2006

I gave my piano lesson today. It went sooo good. Her mother was impressed. The only thing that sucked was her mother said, "I have to get one of those pianos" referring to my Clavinova. What she should have said was, "Wow! You're a great teacher!" I mean, I do have her little girl playing 2 songs and she's only been to two lessons. Yes, I am that good. HA!

I just loving teaching. I have always wanted to be a teacher. However, I had always hated school. So I couldn't get a degree. Now I would love to go back to school. However, I don't have the money. What I would really like to happen is my student's mother is so impressed with me she refers me to other mothers. That would be so cool.

We'll see what happens.

Things are really good right now. Except for the fact that I don't have a boyfriend and Carmy turned out to be a shmuck, things aren't too bad. My finacial status is good. I am getting over time at work right now, I am working extra on my cleaning offices, AND I am teaching piano. Whoo! That's nice.

Anyway, I just wanted to be vain for a moment.

Glad to hear the piano lessons are going so well. It's great when you can get paid for doing something you love. [Serenity17] 10/14/2006 10:27:18 AM
Hi, RYN on my Love2Cook diary! Posted lots of new recipes tonight! LOL! I'm jealous that you can play the piano - I always thought it such a romantic, emotional instrument! I play the saxaphone & clarinet, though not in years!! I miss the music . . . it's such a joyful way to cleanse your soul.

huge hugs

Always,
