Why Is 9-11 (Patriot Day) So Hard? Monday, September 11, 2006
It's because we were all there. We were all alive and lived through it. We all know where we were when it happened. We all know what we were doing. We all watched the news coverage over and over. We all had to shut the coverage off when it was finally too much to watch. We all wanted to do something to help. We all did something to help, be it just a quick prayer or donation. We all know someone that was there or affected in some way. We all saw the people jump from the buildings. We all were amazed by the courage of the people on the planes. We were all outraged. We were all scared. We all wondered if there was more to come. It's because it really happened to all of us.
This marks the five year anniversary of that dreadful day. This entry is dedicated to the men and women who lost loved ones on this day. It's dedicted to those who risked their lives for others and those who gave their lives to save others.
