So one weekend per month, each manager gets to be responsible for all 7 homes in the company which is 28 clients that comes with their own issues. Friday night I was back and forth between my 2 houses. Saturday morning I was called at 5am by a staff that wasn't coming in. I dozed off and got called again at 645am over a new med not being accounted for. Another house ran out of another med...I physically went to 3 houses to fix things. Flash to peace and quiet for a few hours.
Flash once more to a client complaining of chest pain. Spent 3 hours at an ER (coulda been worse). Client was perfectly fine...clean ekg. Severe indigestion. Client's legal guardian was a major pain in the ass...not wanting the client seen at all. Ugh!
Today...the oven at one of my homes is turning itself on lol. I leave them money for take out. A client PUSHED A STAFF DOWN THE STAIRS! Incident report...
It seemed it was never going to end lol. Worst on-call I've had over the past year. All that after working 5 days at 12 hours a pop. And I didn't ask admin once for any assistance...though I probably should have and I know I would've gotten help from her.
Anyway, rough stuff and it's finally over! The other managers can have it back! I'm soooooo ready for bed. My eyeballs are burning and my neuro sleep drink is kicking in. Good nite!
