I should have bought a lottery ticket last night. :P I haven’t bought one in three years. I’m just not much of a gambler, I guess! I do enjoy going to the casino and playing the slots though.
Last weekend at the zoo was really fun. I ended up making friends with Jacob’s friend’s girlfriend. We have a lot in common, and I think we are going to hang out this weekend, hopefully!
Cannon’s been having a language explosion, it’s AWESOME! He can say a lot of things, and he’s counting, recognizing more letters, animals, their sounds, etc. He’s also signing when he’s hungry and saying “ea, please.” Pretty great stuff!
Rant of the day:
Jacob has parent-teacher conferences until 7. He forgot to tell me about them. He ALWAYS does this. I was dressed and ready for school, and then when I text him that I’m about to leave, he says “Oh you have to skip today.” He has such terrible communication with me, and I absolutely loathe it. I’ve asked him so many times lately to try to have better communication with me, but it doesn’t seem to be working.
