I should have asked you guys for some pointers but instead I went into it pretty dumb.
But I took some pictures so maybe that makes up for it.
The Coulee Region Chill played the Janesville Jets. Chill in blue, Jets in brown.
The Chill got a goal almost immediately and then got two more. The Jets then proceeded to get five in a row including the last one which was an empty net goal. That was certainly a surprising development for a neophyte hockey fan.
So the Chill lost 5 to 3.
The Zamboni was kind of boring. I could have gotten a better picture of it but I didn’t.
We sat on the concrete bleachers for the first two-thirds and then went down to the food concession area for the final third. We were right behind the goal net when they did the empty net thing.
I had a walking taco for $3.
The rink also accommodates a college hockey team, a women’s hockey team, curling, figure skating and I would assume there must be open skating too.

My Loggers have not been eclipsed but hockey is fun too.
