The wife agreed if I pay half, she’s going to get me Alien Isolation with her taxes - I’m excited cause we are going to get a PS3 and I’m in-love with the Aliens franchise. Sadly, yes, I’d play Colonel Marines and probably love it despite the bad feedback. I’m one of those fans.

I also just watched A Dame To Kill For and, well, if you watched the first movie as much as I did - everything in it is explained except for who exactly is plotting against Old Town, including mentioning Dwights ‘new face’ because of his past (his past being A Dame To Kill For). The second movie gave you a two second hint of who is plotting against Old Town and thoroughly doesn’t make sense because… the guy helps Dwight and crew… for some reason. So, how they are going to fix that in a future installment - I have no idea. Should’ve stuck the comics dudes. Sadly, the best part was Joesph Gordon Levitt’s story which is the only one which carried on the themes of the first movie… as in, the characters deaths and actions leading to a possible uproar and reform in the future of Basin City. The ending, of course, shat all over that… man!

Now I’m watching Akira again, I like the movie for what it is. Its short and redoes the story as more of a revolutionary sort of thing while the comics, which I recently read ALL of, is more about extreme abuse of power and how nobody is really good at all, not even god - how destiny practically exists strictly to balance uneven aspects of the universe… interesting stuff! But a lot too meaty and hard to digest.

Niki’s older boys bday was today and we got them Max Steels - they liked them. And, for once, everyone sort of got along. Sure, there was some intentions to start drama with certain individuals but its nothing and nobody I’d care to start problems over. So, you know, everything was calm. I couldn’t have cake though, my tooth began to hurt but luckily its calming down now.

I feel like everything is calming down now, evening out compared to the stress of the holidays and people drama. As long as everyone has a healthy escape and ability to express the things we like - people seem to get along well enough to move on with their lives. Phew. Cause, I can’t stand todays melodramatic soap opera standards.
