Ugh, so much poop. Yesterday Cannon put his hand down his diaper again when he pooped and I was busy with Lorelei… I’ve been trying to get him on the potty but it’s difficult when I have a ton of other stuff going on (seriously, how do you guys potty train your kids?), and Lorelei still has had blowout after blowout and I have to throw her in the bath often, despite sizing up her diapers. Yesterday she had the biggest poop I’ve ever seen a kid have. haha.

So it was very fitting when we woke up yesterday morning and I said my usual “good morning!” to Cannon and he responded with “oh shit.”

It’s really hard not to laugh, but I try not to because I don’t want him to say it at school. When he gets a bit older I want to teach him that some things are okay to say at home, but not at school. I just hope at school right now they won’t understand him, but it was pretty clear… heh.

I’m still not done with my reading for class today… I have like 25 pages left. I’ll do it, but reading theory is not very easy to do. It’s very heavy, kind of difficult stuff. I’m smart, but I’m not a philosopher, so it’s not easy for me.

Tragedy of the day: I’m out of coffee. I’m thinking of doing a Starbuck’s run and asking if they have bags of coffee that I can buy (is that weird to do in a drive-thru?).

I wish that my daughter would start sleeping through the night, ‘cause damn do I need some quality sleep. I wake up everyday just exhausted.

Good news: next Sunday we are hanging out with other adults that aren’t related to us! It’s Jacob’s friend Ryan, whom he has known since Cannon was a baby, but I’ve only met him once. He’s never met his girlfriend and neither have I, and they have a five-year-old so that’ll be fun. I hope.

I think Minnesota should just be superimposed onto Kansas so my friends can come hang out with me so I don’t have to make local ones. :P
