So, according to Oxfam, the so-called “1%” will own as much wealth as half of the rest of the world by next year.
The “1%”, in case anyone was wondering, makes up 85 people. That’s not a lot of people. No wonder I’m feeling kinda light this month.
Well, not much going on at the moment. Struggling to keep afloat, my front tooth is definitely coming out (and that depresses me), but at least my health is getting better, so there’s that.
Legend of Grimrock is being an utter, utter bitch. I’m at this bit where there are tons of poisonous spiders and they’re making my life as hard as they can. It’s a bitch because when you get poisoned you either have to rest for a long, long time or take anti-venom. Problem is, though, there isn’t a lot of anti-venom about and as soon as you encounter a poison spider they poison you pretty much as soon as they hit you. I dunno, maybe I’m missing something, but it’s starting to get tedious as fuck.
I’ll probably drop the game soon if I can’t get past this bit. After all, there’s no point in playing a game that you’ve stopped enjoying. Aside from the spiders thing, though, the game is pretty good. Grimrock 2 plays well on my laptop, but the shadows can be stressful on the GPU and I really hate playing without shadows off, even if I do get upwards of 90fps with them disabled.
I’m hungry.
