Right song in And if you believe it to be true, isn't it so?

Gotta find the right song - both lifting and writing music inspires me. Never lets me feel alone, funny the only two places I need it to give me inspiration are the two places I love most, and funny that the outcome could be so vastly different. One I am thoughtful, intuitive, the other I am just smashing dumbbells. Funny how one thing I can derive inspiration from but channel it into two totally different things.

I had a fleeting though, one that was worth sticking your hand out and snatching it to keep for later, one to hold on to, elaborate, expand, maybe even examine? I know we all try to make a conscious effort from time to time to stop and appreciate what we have, where we have come from. Perspective is one of the singular most important aspects of living a happy life that we so often neglect. It's like legs for lifting. They are probably the singular most important body part to work, they provide you with a strong healthy base for all other workouts, they go beyond just looking attractive they help to strengthen you. So does perspective - its not fun and its hard to really gain a good one. You have to struggle and accept things as they are and not continue to just place all your happiness on the "next big thing". That's my horrible lifters analogy

What if the clock was re-wound ten years. And I told you a few simple things. You will be married to an amazing person, you will have this job, you will be presented with these opportunities. I'm sure there are some things that would leave disappointed like shit I don't want that. But I can almost guarantee there will be so many wonderful things that you will just be like "holy smokes! I get a chance at doing this!" or "I will accomplish this!!?" "that's amazing" and it totally is. But we get so caught up in working for these things, and time and people pass us by that these achievements and monumental moments become diluted by our constant need to move forward be better be something more. Achieve more. That you forget to think - how amazing you are.

That's all I've got!
