Wisdom Tooth Out. Pain Meds In! Saturday, November 19, 2005
Pain meds are cool. I got a wisdom tooth out and I am taking Tylenol with Codeine and Ibuprofen 800 MG and it's making me float around with no pain. My face is all swollon and I look horrible. But damn, if I don't feel great! It's fun to just stare at the screen and blink. I feel so relaxed. Except, I think my mouth still hurts, but I really can't tell completely.
I have lost 3 pounds since my tooth came out. Yippy! I can't really eat anything. I really haven't been all that hungry. I havn't drank any pop either because it said no carbinated beverages. I am sure that caused me headaches, but I wouldn't know because of my wonderful Tylenol and Codeine.
Thanksgiving is Thursday and I can't wait! I want to see my family again and tell them all about how wonderful that Doctor was to take my wisdom teeth out. I really could fall in love with him, if he'd let me. However, today he told me he wasn't interested in having children. So I guess that ends that, huh? What's with all these men that don't want a family? I don't get it! I just don't understand!
Well I am staring at the screen again with my mouth wide open. It hurts to shut my mouth. I think I bit my tongue when it was numb. OH! And Doctor M. said something funny while he was ripping my tooth from my mouth. He was yanking on it with one of his tools and he goes, "OH! I see the light at the end of the tunnel!" And i got all excited knowing it was almost over. Then he said, "I just hope it isn't a train!" The assistant and me couldn't help but laugh. That Doctor M. is something else.

ryn: Including today I have eight days left but I'm ahead of schedule so I think hope I'll be done by the weekend.
Are you feeling better since your extraction? I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled out (bottom 2 were impacted so they required surgery) seven years ago. I was so afraid to eat that I ate only had soft foods for an entire month.
Anyway, just in case I don't make it back by tomorrow.. [Hawk.]

dentists think they are comedians. they like to do that when your mouth is full of spit and the sucker isn't getting it and you're drooling everything. ugh. lol [lack thereof.]
