Today, I had no real energy when I got up, so I lay around listening to news podcasts. At 9 AM, I went to the gym and had a workout and then shot 2 or 3 games of pool. I met Richard, a guy with a goatee from Kelowna, originally from Kamloops. He likes boating and Mexico. He was a little surprised that I introduced myself, but that is how I roll.
Yesterday, at about 5 PM, we toured the parking garage and saw the spaces that were on offer. Both would work fine for a second spot.
I emailed Cherie again, and again I have not heard anything back. I will wait till Tuesday and then tell Megan to get ready for the spot. Either one is fine with me. Having a second spot will be a good selling feature when it comes time to sell. It will be nice to have, too, if we ever move in.
As for repainting the spot, Cherie can take that on if she wants. I’m happy with the way things played out. I had given up getting anything out of the condo developer, so their offer is solid and the best we are going to do. If I cared more, I would talk to a lawyer, but the solution offered is easy and better than our current situation.
(I’m in the lounge. A group comes through.) I pause to look at the clouds clinging to the side of a mountain.
The Blue Jays won last night. They seem to be getting hot. Let’s hope they win again today. I like Schneider’s strategy of winning series, not games. That’s a good strategy.
One of my pen pals is leaving the platform. Too many scammers, too many men looking for love, and too much AI-generated writing. The shitification of platforms is astounding. Why is it that all apps and platforms seem to get worse over time?
Reddit didn’t. This one didn’t, which is nice. In the whole time I have been here, I have only had one dubious experience, and that one was over quickly.
