Hi frens. Another monthly update.
I had a depressive spiral earlier in the month. Kinda came out of it but still there. I mean when my life is just an 100 foot empty hole, a ladder is helpful, even if the rungs are far apart. That made no sense. But seriously nothing really going on. Today (29 April) is my birthday. I turn 47 years old. I dont feel a day over 46. hah. I guess the biggest thing that I achieved this month is redecorating the office/studio/extra room/whatever with board game expansion boxes on the wall:
So i'm liking how that is coming along. I have a few more things to put up, and when World order comes out in a couple weeks, the expansion box for that is going under crisis and control. But it's getting done.
In other news. Nothing much else in non gaming news which I'll talk about in a second. I celebrated my birthday today. It wasn't as hard as i thought, mainly because I was too busy to think about it. I was gonna get my nose pierced today but the piercer had some sort of medical procedure done and she wasn't 100% (She said she could of powered through it with tylenol but it was better for my ride so thats fine.) That being said Its happening. I got a random check for 50 bucks, nose piercings cost 50 bucks so here we are. Plus 20 tip from my entertainment budget. I wanted to do it today, being my birthday but saturday is fine. My friends also had a little celebration for me, we played a couple games, I had chipotle (my stomach could not wait for them, I was too hungry) and had starbucks, some hummus and cake and ice cream and I am so full. But it was cool. My friend got me a neat transformer (he's big into transformers)
I was really concerned about this, and this is sounds so stupid, my birthday is the only day I actually act personally selfish (Not time selfish, which i fully admit i am) and i like getting gifts. My mom always made sure i got gifts. Last year I got three board games, which is what i usually get. And this year my friends really stepped up (And this will be the only year i do this cause I dont want to be a mooch) I got some PSN credit and some random cash. If anyone wants to on here, I will always take PSN credit: [email protected] is the email address, or the GFM which is still running.
So in video game news. Starfield came out, i'm waiting until some of the bugs are fixed because i read there are some bugs that are pretty bad. I want it though cause I like Space Skyrim (I know it's not as good but we'll see) I also have heard good things about Pragmata, it looks fun and cute. I then saw Hades 2 on the market so we shall see. Ive been playing through the suikoden games, I'm nearing the end of 3, then I'll go onto 5. Thats when I'll make my next gaming decision.
In gacha news. I got the new silver wolf character (Think expert hacker gamer girl archetype) she's fun. I like her abilities, and her play style. Thats about all in the gacha world. There's a new one that came out today called Neverness to Everness. I might get into that one. I dunno yet. I dont know if i want a 3rd gacha game lol.
Board game stuff. I got my nice storage box for the game bullet:
Holds everything perfectly, room for expansions (which is great cause 2 more come out next month which is 9 more characters, got it locked into the budget.) One small problem is there is a rip on the hinge for the cover which i'm waiting to see for an official solution, if not I'm just gonna get some gorilla tape and fix it like that. I normally dont care about things like that, but this is like 75 bucks, and it is on the hinge so it could get worse. Also I backed Brass: Pittsburgh which will be cool BUT Gamefound has a "Endgame" mode where there is a countdown and if someone pledges at least 1 dollar the campaign continues. It extended another week. UGH. That was so annoying. I might look into the latest heat expansion too. More of that is always good.

Next time I write in here I will have a nose ring. Not a stud, and not a septum ring, just a nice little ring in my nose.
Anyhoo. That is about it.
