He's So Right Monday, August 22, 2005

Went out with C on Friday. It was absolutely wonderful. We went out to dinner and talked and talked. We talk every night online for at least an hour. I have to admit, I do believe that this is the start of a beautiful relationship.

He challenges me. We talk about issues and we throw out our opinions each trying to make the other see why their way is right. We constantly speak back and forth about what we believe and it's amazing. We laugh so much. He's cute, he's charming. He's sooo smart. He seems to know something about just about everything. And his opinions are based on his experiences and he holds true to them. He jokes around a lot. He treats me special. Always picks me up, ON TIME. He even ordered for me at the dinner... with a little bit of my help. I thought is was soo romantic. I have actually always wanted a man to order my food. I know it sounds completely "Man is dominate-ish" but it was so romantic in the same way. He walks me to the car door and opens, and shuts it. He compliments me. COMPLIMENTS ME!!! He is actually yet to kiss me. However, I really think that next Fridays date will involve a kiss. He treats me with respect. He calls when he says he will. He answers my questions when I ask them. He's romantic. He's kind.

He likes me for who I am.

That is sooo nice to hear! I have never been a woman's libber.I think it's nice to be romanced and respected and have time to get to know one and other.Everything moves too fast these days.People don't take time to get to know each other before they are in bed together, living together, then breaking up because they didn't take things slowly at the start. 8/22/2005 1:40:08 AM
Yeah, so enjoy going slow.Savour it like you would a new chocolate bar. You don't have to have all of it in one sitting! Then maybe you will have something special left for after the honey moon.Lots love, [blue bird] 8/22/2005 1:42:20 AM
You are now the second or third woman who has said that she likes it when the guy orders for her. I think I'm on to something here... [JKD Student] 8/22/2005 11:18:51 AM
That is awesome. He sounds like a dream guy. I'm happy for you. I thought I met my dream guy but he doesn't call me on time, doesn't show up when he says he will and talks alot about himself. Not so dreamy huh. I can't wait to hear about your next date with him. I hope you get the kiss you are looking for. sending positive thoughts your way [lostonthesea] 8/22/2005 11:03:20 PM
sigh I actually like for Vince to order for me at restaurants, too. I've always liked that sort of chivalrous behavior.. opening doors, pulling out chairs, offering his arm when walking, kissing my hand... Im a sucker for stuff like that. [Hawk.]
