Solitary Started It Sunday, August 14, 2005
Ok, so this is how it all happened.
One day i was reading my favorites. A little bit of Lowerlight, and little bit of Hawk, and then I got to Solitary's diary and noticed a survey. I can't help it, but I have a hard time NOT taking a survey. I noticed Solitary was an EMO and I just HAD to know if I was an emo also. (I didn't even know what emo meant, but I had to know) So I went to take the survey. I took the survey and discovered that I too was an EMO. However, what I also found out was that I was now part of an online community called Ok Cupid. I began chatting with people from there and getting to know people and suddenly something happened to me. The light humorous attitude didn't freak me out one bit and these people I chatted with didn't scare the Hell out of me. In other words, unlike the dating sites that I have tried in the past, this site actually made me want to actually meet these people. So that is what I have begun to do.
First date was tonight with: C, 36 year old Dentist. He picked me up at 7pm in his Mercedes Benz and took me out for a drink, then dinner, then we went driving around talking and getting to know each other. Date ended at 12:45am. Had a great time and hope to see him again. Who knows though. You would think a 5 and a half hour date is a good sign, right???
Thursday I have a date with Andrew. He's 29 and goes to MSU and working on becoming a doctor. He is very athletic and is actually away doing a triathlon. I am not quite sure what we are doing yet.
Next Saturday I have a date with Tim. He is a 31 year old that owns his own business. We are going out to dinner. However, this "date" is more like a friends thing.
Jeff/Geoff asked me out but we haven't made definate plans. He is a.. ummm well I am not sure what he does. Oh, he works for some sort of shop or something. His name is Jeff (I think... I am starting to get them a little confused) I think we are just going to get together and ride our bikes. I don't know how I feel about this kind of date. However, he's really a nice guy and really attractive. We have spoken a lot online and I really like him. He seems super nice so I don't want to miss out so riding bikes it just may be!
So, yah for i vetem dating again! And super Yah for free dinners! And one cheer for Solitary for doing a survey that started this madness!

Wow, I had no idea that my taking a stupid little quiz would have such a great impact on you. I would say a five hour date is a very good sign. Bike riding for a date seems like it might be fun. It's definitely different, to say the least. [Hawk.]
