I lied when I said I don't dream,
Sometime I do all the time,
Sometimes I remember them all,
And I wake up looking for you,
Because your scent still lingers
But now I try not to sleep
because it's always the same,
You never left,
You drop your tired excuses
You place your tattooed hands on my cheeks
And I realize they're actually yours
Not the ones I used to fill the space,
The ones I broke and sent on their way
But yours,
and I can breathe, and I can feel
And I am okay
