Today there was an appeal for UN weapons inspectors to investigate Manchester United Football Clubs dressing room.
Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, who is married to David Beckham one of the clubs star players, made the plea after her husband was injured in a dressing room bust up with the manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
A spokesperson for Mrs Beckham said, Mr. Ferguson had an infamously short career as a striker. He claims that the boot hit Mr. Beckham by mistake. Yet he has not apologised. It is Mrs. Beckhams view that Mr. Ferguson used an unspecified, and possibly illegal, targeting football boot to deliberately hit Mr. Beckham. She therefore demands that the UN investigate this.
Hans Blix, leader of the UN weapons inspectors team in Iraq, commented, It sounds like Mr. Ferguson may be in material breach of international law concerning these types of football boots. I would ask Manchester United to destroy all football boots of mass devastation.
No one from Manchester United was available for comment. Mr. Ferguson, when asked, said, It was just a wee scratch. I have nothing to hide.
