The online community at freeopendiary was stunned today as it was discovered that one diarist was auctioning off his stalker.
It started earlier this month when a diarist, going by the name ‘MacabreStalker’ started inundating the diary of Peter_24601 with notes about his diary. But today, Peter took the unusual step of putting his stalker up for auction on ESell.
“I first got the idea after a regular reader of my opendiay, Negative Prick, offered me $5 for my stalker”, Peter commented. “I’ve had my fun with MacabreStalker and thought it was only fair to share him with others.”
When asked about why he chose to auction the stalker, Peter said, “Well, I already had one offer for him, so I decided to see how much I could raise. I plan to spend the money rebuilding my video collection.”
The auction offers you the chance to have the same note left in multiple entries in your online diary/blog, multiple versions of the notes per entry and an online diary dedicated to you.
One bidder, who asked to be known only by his diary name 655321, said, “I saw Peter_24601 being stalked and thought, this looks like fun. So when I found out about the auction I decided I had to bid. Besides, I’m being harassed by a notebomber and it is my hope that the two will fight over me and I’ll get some peace.”
A spokesperson for ESell said, “It is, without doubt, one of the most unusual items we have auctioned on this site. But, as we allow people to sell RPG characters here, we let this one slide.”
Currently the bidding stands at $100. But with another week before bidding closes this is expected to rise.
