JJ’s neice turned one to days ago and she had her party today! We got her monster trucks, a little people tractor, and an additional little people person that I have been calling “The fabulous gay man”. I tried to hand her to JJ but she wanted nothing to do with him....That’s a first! She usually doesn’t want me at all. I’m glad I got to hold her for a little. I tried to rock her to sleep once her mom gave up after like half an hour. JJ and his brother were talking about the family business and how he should just start his own LLC instead of being under his dad’s. N and I talked about JJ’s stepmom some. She didn’t show up for the party so I was asking questions about her and if N thought she’d love a child of ours less because it’s a step grand kid. She basically said that she thought the grandkids would be on the same level even if the siblings aren’t. It made sense but time will tell, I guess. I’m really happy we spent the time over there that we did. I feel like N and I are a little closer now. I adore her and the brother and their daughter so it’s super nice to spend more time with them and feel closer. Next time, my goal is to be the one to get the baby to sleep. I know I can.
We stopped at walmart for some things for my mom for superbowl snacks tomorrow and we got McDonald’s. I watched GH with Mom, played neopets, and let BabyMamma’s dogs out. The little one was a little asshole but JJ caught him so it wasn’t a big deal. The other was dopey and friendly as always.
Today was a good day.
