One of my childhood friend’s mother passed away and her wake is today.
I went and saw the two friends who lost their mom. It was nice to catch up and meet their significant others for the first time. I hope we actually manage to keep in touch this time…Even if we don’t, we know we’re still friends and that we show up when it’s important. Last time I saw them was a few years ago....at their older brother’s wake. So.
JJ and I went to that place that has the hot wings and the funnel cake fries. We got home, watched raw with mom, and ate. I managed to get the sauce ALL over my jeans becasue I didn’t know that it was on the bottom of the container I was holding. Oh, well. I’ll sacrifice them to the laundry gods tonight and hopefully they won’t stain.
Spider called me while RAW was on and we talked for a while. He basically keeps asking me what he should do, I give him the answer, and then he gives me 10 reasons why it won’t work. It’s fine though. We also still talk in code like we used to which I love a lot. Spider and Firefly. I was hitting on him and said I was joking, he said that that was the problem I said “If I were serious, you’d have noped out immediately” our conversation basically ended there and I still have a lot of thoughts about that. He asked what I wanted for my polycule, I said “Home.”
I didn’t send my nanny family a message about the oldest’s birthday today but I’m going to send them presents later in the month since all 3 girls are February. Hopefully they don’t notice that I’m a little late. 9, 7, 5. It’s hard to believe. Baby boy will be 3 in October, too.
