 Dear God,

Thank You for helping me pass the exam today. If I hadn’t passed, I would have been terminated immediately and sent home. I’m grateful for Your guidance and protection.

Tomorrow, I have another exam, and I can only miss 5 out of 50 questions. My dad reminded me that this exam is important because it’s part of doing Your work—helping save lives. He’s right. This exam covers decompression, using emergency equipment, and understanding our duties and assignments during emergencies.

I’ve studied hard, and I will study again in the morning. I am going to give it my all. I admit the stakes are high, but everyone around me encourages me to have confidence and believe I will pass. It seems that most of my classmates, if not all, believe in me too.

I pray that You continue to hold me in the palm of Your mighty hand. Keep my body healthy as I face this challenge, and help me give my best effort. Most of all, I pray that my life will never be the same—that I may live with discipline, integrity, and wisdom. Help me honor my commitments: no smoking, knowing my boundaries with wine, being on time, avoiding gossip, and maintaining situational awareness.

Through this experience, I’ve learned not only about aircrafts but also an incredible amount about myself. I know my confidence needs growth, especially in unknown situations. I also know I will face repeated challenges as a singer, songwriter, and actress. Please guide me to elevate, develop leadership skills, empower others, be assertive, be a team player, and, most importantly, represent Christ in all I do.

Please forgive me for my sins, whether knowingly or unknowingly. I love You.

Amen.
