An Interesting Story Thursday, July 14, 2005
So I found out some interesting knews last night. So interesting it makes me believe that it isn't true. In some sick sadistic way I really want it to be true though. It would make me feel like the bitch got what was coming to her. My mother always told me, "What comes around goes around." I always believed it too. I really try very hard to be a good person just so that I don't have anything come back at me. So here's the story.
I have this ex boyfriend named Kumbi. I dated him about 3.5 years ago. While we were dating he was also dating this girl we'll call Crystal. Well, Crystal just happened to be the store manager of McDonalds. The other managers (of importance to this story) were Me and Lacy. Crystal and Lacy are sisters. How convenient is that for Lacy? Anyway, Kumbi worked along with us all but just as crew. Now, before you all say "How and the heck can you work with everyone and NOT know Kumbi was dating Crystal?" Well, managers can't date crew. However, it always happened at McDonalds. I think it's the smell of grease and onions that brings crew together with managers. So it was all a big secret from everyone, except Kumbi of course.
So time went on and jealousy broke out through the whole store. I got jealous when Crystal talked to Kumbi. Crystal got jealous when Kumbi spoke with me. Lacy then spread rumors that I was a lesbian. Kumbi back talked me every day just because he could. Well finally one day I had had enough. I was tired of Lacy getting away with shit because she works under her sister and I was tired of Kumbi walking all over me. So one day I asked Kumbi to clean something or other and he refused. I wrote him up for insubordination. The next day when Kumbi came home from work (we lived together) he laughed and said, "Crystal ripped up my write up."
I was floored at this point. However, the next day at work was when I got my big surprise. I came to work and Crystal wrote me up for 3 seperate things. ALL totally bogus. I do mean totally bogus. It was like she just grabbed some ideas out of the air and wrote them down. I had worked for McDonalds for 9 years and had never been written up except a couple of times when I was just starting there as crew. (they were tills off more than 3 bucks) She ruined my perfect track record.
Looking back at all this I know exactly why everything was happening. At the time I had no idea though. I just felt picked on like everyone was against me. They kind of were. I mean Crystal, Lacy, and Kumbi had teamed up as good friends. I was still dating Kumbi at the time so everything was always great at home. The only tense times were at work when all three of us were working together. However, I really didn't understand why this was. Of course I do now.
