Your friend and neighbor PolyBoy had himself a birthday last weekend, and N took him to Oahu for three glorious days of sun, relaxation, and adult beverages.
It was nice to get away, but I was ready to come back home.
I am grateful that the TSA agents didn't look too closely at my license when I flew out and back. I didn't realize it, but my license expired on my birthday. I didn't find out until we tried renting a car. I was shocked! Usually the DMV sends me a letter a couple of months in advance to inform me that the expiration date is coming up. No such luck. Fortunately, I renewed by license online so I was ready if they checked my ID on the way back, which they did not. Still, it's better to be prepared!
I've made a few new connections, most of them in the swinger arena. That said, there is a new ENM connection that I made. We met at a birthday party a couple of months ago and have been on a few dates since then. She is *very* demisexual and needs things to move at a slow pace. It suits me fine. I am all about going at whatever pace the woman wants to take. It's been really nice so far, and we will see where it leads.
On the other side of the spectrum, the swinger ladies are mostly more forward and don't need nearly as much...connection? Warmup? Whatever the word is, while they value and want connection as well, it's a different vibe. The physical - or the potential for it - fits in a much smaller window of time. There is one woman I connected with who offered to let me finger her in the bathroom the first time we meet.
No judgment on either mindset. They are just vastly different.
