I was dating a 17 year old. You’re probably wondering how I got here. Soon to be 45 year old man, smashing a 27 year old. If you’ve made it this far, then here is my story.
It’s all bullshit and I make the most inappropriate jokes. But I did get picked up by the cops.
The snow storm that everyone was freaking out about, hit. I took my kick scooter to work and it was fine. No snow, no rain, just bone dry roads and sidewalks. Around 11 pm it finally starts to snow. Some of my team left around 10 pm and the rest stayed. I told them that if they get this done they’re free to leave, or leave now; it’s up to you. Don’t risk your life for a job. Except me since I’m trying to move up again.
By 1 am they left and I had a little bit of freight left. I was down to 4 associates and 2 stayed but eventually they all left by 5 am. I stayed my full shift to do some administrative work that’s required at the end of my shift and left at 6 something in the am.
My scooter was doing fine on the road but as soon as I got in the sidewalk, I got stuck. A cop saw me and asked if I was okay.
OH NO I’M BEING DEPORTED! THAT’S JUST GREAT!
He gave me a ride. It was a mile down the road but with it being 15 degrees, I was taking that ride. I got asked if I had any weapons on me and I explained that I just got off work as I handed him my ID. I thought it was my green card. They look the same or our state ID used to look different but after all the changes, it now looks like a green card. I got home and freaked out thinking that I lost my driver’s license and had been riding my motorcycle without a license.
I took an Uber the next day and left around 1 am after my 4 associates left. It wouldn’t look right if their boss left.
We cleaned up my area and then the stockers came over asking if I had anyone that can help them. After my tasks are done, sure. Between us I think they hated helping them since some said they’d stay their full shift but as soon as they were out there, they came back and said that they’re leaving at 1. That’s fine.
The stocking leads said that I must be bored to be cleaning the walls. I was using the mop to get up the salt people tracked into my area and thought I’d try it on the wall. I have a tour coming up next week and they don’t know because my side of the store is its own thing. I’m a part of the building, but I’m technically not. I’m a warehouse and they’re a store. Same company but not totally the same if that makes sense. If I have a tour, it’s for my area and the robots. But I think it’s the whole building this time since they’re painting things.
After my team left, I left. I did my admin stuff and walked home.
My store lead wanted to get me ride or to have one of the salary managers give me a ride. That was so nice but I’d rather not owe anyone or feel like I am in debt. I don’t trust them. That’s basically it.
I know I’m a piece of shit and everyone takes everything I saw the wrong way, but I don’t trust them one bit.
If a dude with no legs can climb Everest, I can walk 2 miles in 15 degree weather as it snows.
I got home with frozen teeth and my backpack was caked in snow, but I got home. Frozen, but home.
I now understand why people die on Everest. I tried walking on the sidewalk or, where I thought it was but; the fucking snow trucks made it at least a foot or two in some spots. Trying to climb out when I made a mistake was…fun, but not fun. I was sweating.
I couldn’t tell if my legs were cold or sore. Are my feet wet or cold? I’m not sure.
But if I fall into that river that’s definitely a death sentence. THINK!! Where was that drop off again? Well shit, if I fall I fall. Let’s go!!
And that’s how every step of the way went. Me rambling to myself about how I hope no snow wendigo or skin Walker is following me. So I kept looking back just to make sure nothing scary is after my ass.
The walk was cold but it was fun. No wonder people die out there. You sweat walking through deep snow. It’s a work out. But a guy at work with a cane walked to work. If he can do it, so can I.
Then a snow truck came and cleaned the road off and it was easier walking on the road that the deep snow.
Fun huh?
I came home, made some food and woke up to my new neighbors fighting. The girl was slamming shit around and yelling YOU HIT ME!!! and the guy kept trying to go outside to clean the snow off the sidewalk.
These apartments aren’t nice. They’re okay, but they’re not nice.
I had two hot blondes tour it and they went somewhere else.
If you have a roommate, you can afford a nice $1,500 to $1,900 dollar apartment that looks like something out of a magazine. If it’s just you, you can do it, but you’ll be paycheck to paycheck or one paycheck and half of the next one just to pay the rent.
At this place you can pay the rent and have an extra $1,500 to save, spend, or whatever.
I haven’t heard from Paige in a while. Not since the last time she blocked me and unblocked me. Crazy horny girl.
