An overnight with each partner, a holiday party, then two dates on Sunday.
Never let it be said that my life is boring.
I had an overnight with A on Friday. We had a lovely night in and watched a movie. She hasn't seen a lot of flicks so she asked me to choose one of my favorites. If you know me, you know that this is a nigh impossible task. Choose one? Good gravy, I can't do that! What day is it? How's the weather? Am I tired? There are a million factors that go into what my favorite movie is in that second of the day.
We eventually landed on A Hard Day's Night, and now we are creating a viewing list. I am practically salivating at the possibilities...
N and I attended a Christmas party Saturday and had an overnight. We didn't get home until well past 1 a.m., so we crashed right out when we got back to my place.
I think this might be a good place to note that I do not live with either of my partners. N has her own place, and A has a place where she lives with roommates. I really love having my own space. Not only does it give me the privacy that I want, but it also gives me a place to decompress if I've had a rough day. (If I have already talked about this, feel free to disregard this paragraph and carry on.)
After N went home Sunday morning, my first date showed up and we went to the city's big Christmas tree display. It was nice to walk around during the day when the place isn't crawling with people.
When that date was over, I napped for about a half hour before my afternoon date arrived. We went to a local bar that also has video games. It was great! I love that spot. I've been there a bunch, but my date hadn't. After that, we went to a bar where a live DJ spins old vinyl records. It is absolutely my vibe. I loved it. That was followed by some snuggle time on my couch back home before she went home and I wound my evening down on the couch, falling down the YouTube rabbit hole.
For whatever reason, my eyes popped open at 4:30 this morning. So that was fun.
Now here I am at work, saying hello to all of you.
