Old SnakePiss, we secretly call her!
She ‘’works’’ at a local convenience store, here in the UK. Somewhere in her 50s.
She has a genuinely scary face, long and drawn out, with weird staring soulless eyes. Have never seen her smile.
When other staff ask her for help, she refuses and ignores them. She’s common, arrogant and full of herself.
Constantly walks around looking utterly bored. Like she’s there, but she’s not.
Try to talk to her or have a laugh and she becomes quite verbally aggressive.
If a customer asks for help, we get ignored.
One of the ladies had to have 8 weeks off because of a hysterectomy and SnakePiss was moaning bitterly about how it’s not right that she has time off and SnakePiss has to be on.
She’ll literally barge past a customer, almost knocking them over.
If her shift starts at 9am, she’ll ring up at 8:50 saying she can’t come in. Really it’s not can’t but won’t. She only lives just around the corner so it’s not like she has miles to travel.
I’m on a walking stick and also a 4-wheeled seated walker and am only 5‘1 to her ....5‘9 about, so I’ll ask her to reach for something, and she’ll either ignore me or will get it but basically throw it at me.
Last year, I was on my walker. There was a large metal wheeled stock crate blocking the left side, and others blocking the right side. I couldn’t get through the left side. SnakePiss was the only one in the shop at the time, so I politely asked her to move the crate just a bit so I could get my walker through. She was only a couple of feet away, she saw me and heard me, and she totally ignored me and walked off. I had to move the crate as she wouldn’t.
She recently barged past my hubby, again, almost knocking into him, so we had a natter with the lady on the till who called the manager out, and she knows what sort of reputation SnakePiss has, we gave her examples of how she behaves to us, other customers and to other staff - all the others work their arses off - and she was fuming with her, so she said she’ll have a severe word with her.
