Burdens in Poetry

Hey girl, sitting in the corner

Watching the world through your bent up knees

It's okay, you don't have to stay there

It's dark, and cold, and lonely

You've got the force of a thousand Suns in your mind

And while they all talk together

And make you crazy

You can still come out and feel the heat,

Let it go and be yourself

You deserve better

To feel better

We could grab those snacks and blankets

And laugh until the movies are over
