So Septembers update is blah. The sword of Damocles is still hanging, mainly because I got hit with a huge expense this month, (I'm progressing on it, just a bit longer, i have a self imposed due date january to figure it out and I think ill hit it) But a couple weeks ago the screen on my laptop just went bonkers, to the point of scrambling and half the screen frozen, (it worked on a tv screen but that's not ideal) So I had to get a new laptop. (aka hello early christmas) and its 95% just like my old one, except the speakers suck and I had to get a bluetooth speaker for longer videos, combine that with my wireless earbuds I got which makes for stuff like redzone more feasible. But the sword is there, I'm dealing with it.. but it just sucks.
I'm just worn out recently, emotionally, and physically. I haven't been playing as many board games because my rides have had car issues or family issues. Which i understand, just hard on me, i'm not blaming them.. just.. blergh. I had some snafus with paperwork, I had to fill out a form to show basically I do everything for my mother who has COPD, fax it to her doctor, then they were supposed to mail it back, well, I faxed it, waited a week, and they never got it, so i had to go back to fax it again but staples fax machine was down.. fortunately I found a site where I could just take a picture and fax it via my phone.. still was annoying. Just stupid things like that is also draining me both mentally and physically. (I can thank stupid idiots in congress for that document fiasco)
In board game news, the people who made Slay the spire the board game announced an expansion for it which makes me happy, ill instaback it because it is one of my favorite games from last year, and a good overall game. I also had some amazon credit, and I got these games:
one is a riff on hearts and the other is a cooperative poker game, your playing texas hold em, but you are trying to rank your hands with some powers in there. Its fun.
I also got this game: 
First edition to the right, new edition with the goofy 70s art on the left, basically a roll and move racing game with crazy super powers, its a lot of fun, I wasn't going to get it but the remake is so nice with more powers, and a double sided board (The OG board sucked so bad) I'll probably just gift the OG one to a friend.
In video game news, HSR I finally got a new unit, Evernight, (a mirror version of March 7th, and i'm so glad at the resolution of it) and she's great, I love her style and she's fun to play, and design wise she's great:

In ZZZ news, I haven't taken any pictures of her, but I got Seed, who is this adorable girl who's "Father" was an intelligent construct, and her story was really sad, but really good to the point i was tearing a bit. She IS a cutie pie though, (and a bit crazy, always talking about kidnapping the mayor and stuff) But her play style is fun, basically barrage missiles and bombs. The only stupid thing (Not for me) is there is a LOT of feet things going on but.. its fine for me.

So after I finished ME: Andromeda (grr every time I finish it) I downloaded a fun old school futuristic dungeon crawl called Metro Quester, I beat it in a week but it was fun... and ive harped about this and its just a silly rant, there are 2 resources, material and food, material is needed for upgrading items and leveling, and food you have to hit a threshold by so many runs or else bad things happen) Well one of the monsters is a mutant hamburger, and when you kill them, you don't get food.. you get materials! Why??? lol. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.
In football news.. It's been a roller coaster for the packers. Holy carp 2 good games, 1 disaster of a game, (4th quarter ick) and whatever that cowboys game was last night. That was crazy but draining. Haha. Poor Tom Grossi was so exhausted after that game (I was following the stream which was crazy, but he's a good guy)
In other news, I fired up seven eves again, and I remember why that book was fun and mind boggling, why? Cause humanity unites to get people into space with one conflict (on the ground, there are a lot in space but that's another story) THATS the biggest piece of fiction out there, if this happened to our world, there would be so much infighting, conspiracy theories and people denying that the moon blew up and all the bolides that crashed on earth were hoaxes. It also makes me think what I would do in a situation like that? Moon blows up, world ending, not going to space because of legitimate reasons. I'd probably just be playing board games as the world collapses.
My 20 year old iPod showing its age but it works perfectly. (I am getting near the shift of narrators though which is jarring but I love that 5000 year time shift)
Also, as I was looking for a replacement pair of boots, because my boots are at least 15 years old and they are slowly dying (one of the zippers broke, some of the leather is worn out, and I had to reheel them like 6 years ago) I never knew the make and the style of them.. until i looked on zappos.. AND I FOUND THEM.. I FOUND THEM ON THE DESIGNERS WEBSITE ON CLEARANCE FOR 70 BUCKS (normally 110) I am elated. I cannot wait to wear them.
So.. I think that's all. I'm just tired of all the heavy things going on. But today is this orange dorks gotcha day. He's about 12. He's still in great shape, but TBH i'm getting worried about his age, I want another cat, preferably a bit older one and I would love an orange because ive had orange kitties for 20 years.
