Fire in Poetry

So ignite these words 

And hold my heart

And set it ablaze, and set it ablaze 

Cuz it burned for the days before 

How long does it last when you don't say the words and you do what you do

And you take for granted what was right in front of you 

So take these words and set them ablaze 

These fires will burn

And the pain endures, and the pain endures

Until it heals over and there's nothing left but scars on your soul

And you're looking around but there's no one left cuz you're on your own

Just a jar of ashes left in the dark

Just take my heart and set it ablaze

Take these words and turn them to ash
