New favorite song: Missing by Evanescence

12 weeks until the wedding. I am right on track on my weight loss. I have officially lost 3 pounds. Damn that seems like a really tiny number. Especially for the "sacrafices" I have made. I have not snacked at all in two weeks. No candy. No cookies. No icecream with chocolate dripping down the sides melting into malted consistency. No pizza. No burgers. Not one french fry. No late night taco bell trips. Not even a tiny bit of butter and salt on my corn. Almost 2 weeks of this and 3 freaking pounds is all I have lost! Hopefully monday when I do my "weigh in" it will be 4 pounds. (crosses fingers)

I am hungry.

I worked out today a little bit. I just wanted to burn off my dinner calories. My dinner was an amazing 220 calories. I walked briskly on the tredmill for a weak 25 calories and on the eliptical for about 84 calories. Then I swam laps for 4 Evanescence songs. (about 16 minutes) That's gotta equal about 100 calories. It was a small work out... but I just wanted to burn calories. I don't care about muscles right now.

I am hungry.

Good news: No psycho-bitch exboyfriend's girlfriend calling me.

Thing I learned today: There are 152 top floor apartments in my complex. 64 of them are two bedrooms and 88 of them are one bedrooms.

I might try something new on Saturday. I might go the the movies all alone. Maybe not though. I invited my roommate and my friend Amanda. They both want to go. So how am I going alone? Well Amanda is sick. Michael isn't 100% sure he's going. I am going to see Phantom. It's Andrew Lloyd Webber, so I know it will be awesome. Him and Evanescence should write a musical. Heck.. they should get married and have offspring. Or not get married and just have offspring.

I am tired... and hungry. Can't wait until breakfast tomorrow. Nine hours until then! Whoo hoo... Anyway... Augusten Burroughs is waiting for me. I have some magical thinking to do.

PS. I want this phone please. http://www.babyphat.com/nshop/product.php?view=detail&productid=BP-BPPHONE2

Wow that phone is crazy expensive. It looks like something my best friend would want. Anyway, going to the movies by yourself isn't that big of a deal, I've done it quite a few times. [Solitary17] [p] 1/21/2005 1:22:40 AM
"no more late night taco bell trips" - oh man. i miss those the most. mourning that right along with you. taco bell is so good at giving me the runs, but damned if i don't miss it. your progress is good, i'm impressed :D

have you seen phantom onstage? the movie is pretty good, considering what they had to work with in translating it to a movie. it's worth seeing it by yourself. i loathe [mayonessa] 1/21/2005 2:02:19 PM
going to the movies by myself, but i'm even thinking of making an exception for phantom...

i'll do a sketch of the snowmen family sometime this evening and send you a first draft tonight. please email me at [email protected] to give me your email address so i can send you a link to it when i'm done for comments/critiques/suggestions! [mayonessa] 1/21/2005 2:04:16 PM
Not bad. You're right on track with the weight loss. Keep it up. :) Though waiting nine hours until breakfast? Bah.

Do you like celery? Buy celery. Whenever you want a snack, eat that. Don't throw peanut butter and whatnot on it, mind you. Just the celery. It's all water and fiber. So few calories that you burn them off just by chewing and digesting it. [JKD Student]
