Technically we fly out tomorrow, but Oceania scheduled our flight for 7am, and we don’t know what the traffic situation at JFK is going to be due to the construction there, so we elected to stay a night at the TWA hotel. I woke up late, trapped the rabbit so La Professure could take him to the bunny sitter, and had lunch. When I got back I finished packing my carry-on (the checked luggage was already packed on the weekend). It is nice having a packing list so I was sure I hadn’t missed anything. We left at 3:30 and got to the hotel at 4:30. We walked around the hotel - it is set up a bit like a 60s airport themed resort - and met up with La Professeure’s College Roommate and her husband and daughter, had dinner, then went to the “Connie” airplane, a 1958 Lockheed Constellation plane that used to be Eisenhower’s Air Force One, now turned into a bar/lounge/exhibit. That was a lot of fun.
