The more things change... in 2025?

The more they stay the same. Right?

I’ve had my house listed since August. I have not had a showing since January, maybe February. People kept requesting and when I said I could not make that work they didn’t try again. Very frustrating. But going along with that is the fact I had an offer on property. Well, after much internal debate I removed my offer. It would have been too much work to be able to get onto the property. I mean 13/16 of an acre covered in scrub brush is a lot to clear. Along with the fact it was a pretty big slope. And so much I would have to go through to be able to build on it. Ultimately, I think it was the best decision. Which meant I needed to talk to a lender and see what I can afford. Not nearly as much as I had hoped. But hey, it’s a start. Needing to pay less off the top means I can pay off most of my other bills, if not all. My only means of credit at that point would be the house. Which is a scary part, I need to keep working on my credit. But I guess I wouldn’t be closing anything, just paying them off. I think using a $300 credit card wouldn’t be too terrible.

But thinking about that really makes me relize where I was 2.5 years ago. If not closer to 3 years ago. Negative checking account for a couple months. Almost losing my house. Debts not getting paid. Still recovering from that a bit.

Work sucks. The work isteslf isn’t terrible. The boss… rediculous. So the one who is supposed to be shop manager got fired. After not really getting a chance to learn the gig. Being so short staffed he had to help the floor he couldn’t just be boss. They used one person against him. She quit because of him, supposedly. I want to get to the bottm of it. The boss keeps asking how I am. I tell him I’m ok but I am going to buckle down and ask him why. Tell him my point of view. None of us are happy about this change. I don’t see the shop surviving. But whatever.

Otherwise nothing much to say. Boyfriend is still the man of my dreams. Dogs are still not producing. Kids are happy… enough. Yep, I think thats good for now.
