I knew that I wasn’t going to accept what was going on with my back as my new normal. My whole fucking life was upside down, for real. I remember the date also, because there was 2 very big important things that happened that day. We had the housing program re-certification, which we passed and we’re good for another year. Directly after that ended, I had to run downtown for court review because I am still having to pay off slowly, my stupid ass restitution. Ugh. So, I went and I had paid a little bit, the judge was happy and I like to be out of sight, out of mind. I was going to run right back to the bus station but since I was downtown I went down to the Friendship Room. Good thing, there was some soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I take enough for me and the BF and carry my box back down to the bus station and hop on the bus home. I got home and was cooking ground meat for tacos when I remember telling my BF that it felt like my whole back was just tightening up. The next morning, my whole back was locked up and I couldn’t do much more that scream in pain and barely make it to the bathroom. After about 3 days of that, was my 1st visit to the ER. When I say visit, I mean my BF called the ambulance and they came and carried me out of here. I went to Trinity West and thus begins my journey of 2 more ER visits, 2 online doctor chats, talking to my nurse practitioner who prescribes me my Suboxone, finally finding a Sports-Medicine doctor who ordered me an MRI. The MRI was on 4/16 and that very day his office called me and said I was going to a specialist. Well, I ended up going up to Hillcrest thru the Cleveland Clinic and was admitted. Hate to cut this short but my dog is bitching and I am so fucking happy to be home,
