- The left shoe of my favourite (most comfortable) pair of everyday flats.

Living in soft focus, maybe life will be less harsh. - My credit and debit card wallet.
I dropped it as I was unlocking the front door,
I remember the little wallet in my hand.
I have no idea where it went from there.
Did I foolishly have every one of my active cards in it?
Yup. - A $500 check from Donnal.
(Donnal refuses to use any method of electronic transfer
for - reasons.)
If I don't find it soon,
not only am I out the $500 that I really need right now,
but much much worse,
I have to tell Donnal I've misplaced the check.
I cannot think of a pithy line with which to end this entry,
so pardon me while I go resume the multi-item search party.
