First time visiting Sun Valley! My good friend Nancy asked me if I would like to join her and stay at a condo in SV. Absolutely I answered!
We are at the end of Day four and so far it’s been awesome! Beautiful scenery and lots of good food!
I met Nancy years ago through the old site Open Diary. A local diarist held on Open Diary BBQ and we both went. She writes here consistently and beautifully.
Over the years we have discovered a wonderful friendship full of camaraderie and like mindedness. We also travel well together.
I joined Prosebox years ago but never got into the habit of writing on a daily basis. I’m trying again :)
I’m a divorced mother of 3 and a Mimi to two delightful and normal grand girls. They legitimately have my heart. My daughter (their mom) and her husband moved out of state a couple years ago which means I travel to them 2-3 times a year. It’s not enough but I value the time regardless. FaceTime is a wonderful tool as well
Sometimes my days blend together and it feels like I’m on a hamster wheel just running and running trying to get it all done. It’s been a godsend to be in SV and away from the daily grind!
So grateful!
I’ll close for now and see what tomorrow brings. It’s an early rise day and then off to see a local lake!
