I hate having to lock up at work when they have events. The events never finish on time and I end up hanging around like a spare part for ages. Tonight they had an event that was scheduled to end at 7pm. I went in at 7:10pm to be told I can’t lock up yet they will be another 30 minutes. In the end I got away at 8pm.
Overall, work is not too bad at the moment. I am spending a lot of time mooching around different departments drinking tea. I have done a reasonable amount of work today. Although, I am still get frustrated at not having the support, right tools, poor set up to complete jobs the way I want to.
I am still going to head out for a walk this evening even though it’s now approaching 10:30pm. I need some fresh air and I need to find an activity to break the week up with.
I am unsure whether to attend a singles social evening at a pizza hut in a couple of weeks. I have never been to one of these events. Whilst, I am keen to get out there and meet new people I want to try and avoid putting myself into an awkward and uncomfortable evening with complete strangers! I will give it plenty of thought over the next couple of days.
