Amazing....

Thank the Gods and heavens for modern chemistry!

My meds have been onboard for a few hours and I feel good, slight twinge of a headache above the left eye, but feeling really good other wise. The aches have gone, hands a tad tingley, but nothing out of the norm for this old man. Even the knees are not screaming at me when I go up and down the steps.

I have made breakfast for Deb and Maggie. Did a little ham, egg and cheddar on an onion ciabata roll, a black olive on top and sliced pickles for Deb and Mag, well poor babe had to suffer through only having a scrambled egg. Deb and mag are piled up in bed, Deb playing with her new phone and Mag just glowing in the joys and comfort of being in bed.

I had bitched and belly ached about Pandora Radio changing the payment plan. They no longer offer an annual payment, now doing automated monthly billing. The cost has gone up, but for me it is a steal as I listen to it all the time. I listen in the office and when my laptop is charged I listen while in the field. My favorite channel is Celtic radio. I am of Eastern European descent, but my heart longs for anything Celtic. I even love wearing a kilt. At one timie I was a member of Clan Ross as I married in. It was kind of cool having that connection.

Oh the sweet euphoria of no pain, of an eased mind and body.........

My mind is racing, a slow steady pace of a marathoner. I look about and see so much needing done, laundry, dishes, vacuuming and dusting, general pick up, then looking outside I need to mow if for no other reason than to move the leaves that are falling. And of course there is the bathroom renovation, the counter top replacement and installation of the new sink and fixtures. I may just finally do that today. And as is normal my mind goes to the thoughts of getting on my Harley and taking flight. Saddness along that line. The gentleman at the dealership that sold me my bike passed away this week. He was a nice fellow and always called me by name when was in the store to buy parts or a shirt. His name is Tony Hales, he was a year younger than I and that is part of the hurt, to lose someone younger then yourself. He will be missed. He always had a smile. As they say in the Biker World, “Gone But Not Forgotten”. Ride on bro, ride on!

Well, off for a bit.........
