It was hubby’s birthday weekend, he turned 31 this year. Kind of crazy that we were talking about him partying hard for his 21st birthday in a house a few streets up with his best friend who still lived here. The day after he was incredibly hung over and that was the day we signed our rental agreement and “officially” moved in together (yes 10 years ago) even though he had lived at my parents place for the summer.
Anyways I took him out for dinner, we dined at Boston Pizza because we didn’t have a babysitter for the kiddo and grandma and grandpa are taking him next weekend so hubby and I can go to a halloween party. Other than dinner I got him some new earrings and a book from Chapters. Last night we had a few drinks and watched Snowpiercer, nothing too big since he really didn’t want a get together this year… also our friends are sick right now.
My dirty 30 is in November and what I really wanted was to go to Vegas to celebrate but that’s not happening… the company strike took us back over two months so things have been tight. I think this year will be the typical family dinner and then a girls night out on the town.
