Work, School and Kids in My life

I have been so busy at work! It’s crazy how much they have me doing now. It’s pretty much like anything that other people don’t do or screw up I’m fixing. I know I don’t have an official case load yet, but I swear it seems like I’m doing more work than everyone else since I’m getting stuff shoved on me from everyone! It might not be as bad if I was someone who could leave work on the desk for the next day, but I’m not. If it’s given to me I want it done that day! Most of the stuff isn’t hard; it just takes forever because our system sucks.
The other thing is a started grad school, and I try to get my homework done on my lunch break, so that’s adding some extra stress. I don’t really have time at home to do that stuff. The one class is so stupid it annoys me to even do the work. It’s one of those into type classes. I guess for people who have never done online classes it’s a good thing, but for me it’s just annoying. Luckily its only 5 weeks long.

In other news, Aiden turned 11 on 9/2. It’s crazy to me that he’s getting so old. He’s bigger than me now, but in my head he is still my baby. I wonder if that ever changes. I’m thinking no. Hes a good kid. Hes getting a bit of an attitude, but I know that’s normal. I don’t get to spend as much time with just him as I use to which makes me sad. He’s getting so old so fast. I have however started doing like a once a month lunch date with him and I. He likes that.
For his birthday “party” we went to pizza hut with some of his friends, and then 2 kids stayed the night. The next day we went swimming. Nothing big. We are taking him and a friend to great wolf lodge next month with is his bigger “gift”. On his normal birthday he got the new madden and then like $150 worth of football stuff. I really am bad about not going overboard! On his actual birthday, we went to eat at a place called KOBE which is a habatchi place where they cook the food in front of you.
